| MINISTER D. Sridhar Babu lays the foundation stone for ₹300 crore manufacturing facility near Hyderabad
State Industries and IT Minister D Sridhar Babu laid the foundation stone for a new ₹300 crore manufacturing facility by Hyderabad-based Raghu Vamsi Group. The facility, spread over 2 lakh square feet on eight acres of land in the Telangana government’s Hardware Park near Hyderabad International Airport, is likely to create 2,000 jobs in the next three years.
The cornerstone was laid Thursday, November 21, 2024, by the Minister Sridhar Babu, leaders of Raghu Vamsi Group, industry officials, and local dignitaries. The facility is expected to begin operations from September 2025. The units include research and development (R&D), assembly, and manufacturing with dedicated bays for 15 original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
We are taking this investment to upgrade our manufacturing and R&D capabilities and contribute to the economic development of Telangana. This project will create 2,000 jobs directly over three years, further boosting the region’s industrial growth,” said Managing Director Vamsi Vikas.
The Raghu Vamsi Group, a leading manufacturer of high-precision products for the aerospace, defence, space, oil and gas, and medical sectors, has witnessed tremendous growth in recent years, with a CAGR of more than 35% in the past five years with orders exceeding ₹2,000 crore.
This expansion of manufacturing capabilities is further backed by strategic global partnerships and joint ventures with leaders in the industry, such as ITP Aero (Spain), Rave Gears (U.S.), Adani Defence, and Part East Robotics. This has enabled the group to focus on three major verticals:
- High-precision contract manufacturing for aerospace, defence, oil and gas, and medical OEMs, such as key clients like Boeing, Eaton, Haliburton, GE Healthcare, and Collins Aerospace.
- Built-to-specification manufacturing of critical sub-assemblies like rocket motor casings and thrust vector controls for DRDO, ISRO, HAL, and BDL for the Indian government agencies.
- Deep technology products for the Indian Defence Forces.
Earlier this month, the Raghu Vamsi Group announced that it is set to acquire the UK-based precision machining company PMC Group, which serves clients in the oil and gas sector, further strengthening its foothold in international markets.
