₹200 Million Investment Announced Earlier as Part of Brand Expansion Plans
New Delhi, December 23, 2024: Lohia Auto has expanded its EV product portfolio with the launch of its new brand, ‘Youdha, The Company aims to manufacture and sell 3 lakh vehicles under this brand by 2027. Earlier, Lohia Auto had announced an investment of ₹200 million to support its expansion plans.
The initial product portfolio of ‘Youdha’ includes L5 electric vehicles comprising the E5 Passenger and E5 Cargo models. The E5 Passenger is designed for urban and semi-urban commuting, focusing on space and efficiency, while the E5 Cargo offers a reliable and sustainable solution for logistics. With this portfolio, Yodha aims to cater to the diverse needs of the E3W segment, further strengthening its commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.
The starting ex-showroom price of Youdha’s first offering in the L5 passenger segment is ₹3.80 lakh. It features a 10 kW battery, providing a range of up to 160 kilometers on a single charge, as claimed by the company. The vehicle can be fully charged at home within 4-6 hours.
