The Telangana government has announced an ambitious plan to develop Bharat Future City, a sprawling 765 sq km urban-industrial hub on the southern outskirts of Hyderabad. Touted as the country’s first net-zero smart industrial city, the project will be overseen by the Future City Development Authority (FCDA) and implemented by the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC).
