Mr. Baba Kalyani, Chairman & Managing Director of Bharat Forge Ltd., has been conferred with the ‘Hon. P. D. Patil Maharashtra Bhushan Award 2025.’ The award is among the most prestigious recognitions in the state, presented to individuals who have brought Maharashtra pride and prominence on the global stage.
Instituted by the Hon. P. D. Patil Gaurav Pratishthan, Karad (Satara), in 2011, the award acknowledges excellence across various fields. Mr. Baba Kalyani was honoured for his exemplary industrial leadership and remarkable contributions to the social sector.
The felicitation ceremony was graced by Hon. Ulhas Dada Pawar and Hon. Balasaheb Patil, eminent leaders in from Maharashtra.
At the event, Baba Kalyani emphasized that linkage of the industry with education, knowledge, and technology is crucial for the nation’s progress. He spoke about how India’s youth must be empowered to focus on innovation instead of relying only on ready-made solutions, and work not just for profit but also for the development of villages, society, and the nation. He humbly added that it is a matter of joy that this honour bears the name of his motherland.
