| Damson Technologies has announced the launch of a new advanced manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with a total investment of ₹200 crore, spread across three phases. The state-of-the-art facility is set to not only produce Damson’s flagship brand *JUST CORSECA* but also continue to tap into the growing market for smart accessories and lifestyle products by manufacturing for other major brands in India.
Investment Breakup: The investment is split into three areas: ₹110 crore towards establishing the factory, ₹60 crore in advanced machinery acquisition, and ₹30 crore in enhancing the manufacturing process. This facility is going to be the central unit for producing a number of audio systems, including TWS earbuds, personal audio devices, and home audio systems. This facility with cutting-edge technology with quality product will meet the growing demand for innovative and durable audio solutions.
Damson Technologies plans to localise production in this facility and generate around 500 jobs within the neighborhood region around Ahmedabad. The company is also focused on scaling its production capabilities to cater to both the domestic and international markets. It will introduce six assembly lines with monthly output of 300,000 units in the first phase. In Phase 3, the facility will expand to 20 assembly lines, increasing production to 1 million units per month.
Furthermore, the company plans to gradually improve its efficiency and competitiveness in the market through international expansions.
Under the leadership of Ritesh Goenka, Managing Director of Damson Technologies, the company will look to redefine the smart accessory segment with a new wave of research and development investments. With a dedicated $10 million R&D fund, Damson will integrate AI-powered products, app-based controls, and voice-assisted features in all its product lines. This forward-thinking approach is underpinned by the company’s dedication to innovation and its aim to dominate in the global market for smart accessories.
Under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, production for this facility will be localized with employment to around 500 locals in the surrounding area. In Phase I, six assembly lines will be operationalized to produce about 300,000 units a month. Damson is planning to expand to 20 assembly lines by Phase 3, wherein monthly production capacity will increase to 1 million units.
Damson Technologies also intends to expand internationally, in a step-by-step manner to its products in the international market.
