De Havilland Aircraft of Canada (DHC) has acquired Fleet Canada Inc., a Fort Erie-based aerospace manufacturer, to strengthen production capabilities and expand in-house expertise. Fleet operates a 500,000 ft² facility in Southern Ontario and has been a key supplier for DHC and other OEMs. This acquisition allows DHC to bring critical manufacturing processes—such as metal-to-metal bonding and advanced composites—in-house, reducing reliance on outsourcing.
