Hyundai Canada achieved impressive sales figures in 2024, reporting a total of 131,715 units sold, a 13.9% increase compared to 2023. The Genesis luxury division also set a new annual sales record, with its 31 Canadian dealerships delivering 7,040 units—a 6.4% growth over the previous year.
The top-performing Hyundai models included the KONA, with 30,020 units sold, followed closely by the TUCSON (29,837 units) and ELANTRA (20,427 units). Other strong performers were the IONIQ 5, which recorded 13,484 units, and the SANTA FE, with 11,334 units sold. The PALISADE also saw a notable 10.3% increase in sales, reaching 7,910 units.
In the Genesis lineup, the GV70 SUV continued its dominance as the brand’s best-selling model in Canada, with sales soaring to 4,048 units in 2024—a remarkable 30.1% increase compared to 2023. The GV80 SUV also posted solid growth, with 1,187 units sold, reflecting a 6.4% year-over-year increase. These results highlight Hyundai Canada’s strong market presence and continued success across its vehicle range.
