FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., April 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ – Hyundai Motor America has launched its Customer Assurance program, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to supporting American consumers. In response to dynamic market conditions and the potential impact of tariffs on the automotive industry, Hyundai has pledged to maintain the current Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) across its existing vehicle lineup for a two-month period, effective immediately through June 2, 2025.
Under this initiative, customers who purchase or lease a new Hyundai vehicle during the protection window will benefit from price stability, regardless of market fluctuations. The program offers peace of mind and financial certainty, allowing consumers the flexibility to make informed vehicle decisions.
“This commitment reflects Hyundai’s enduring promise to do what’s right for our customers and communities,” said José Muñoz, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company. “We understand the concerns consumers have regarding potential price increases, and we are committed to delivering stability during uncertain times.”
Randy Parker, CEO of Hyundai Motor North America, added, “Maintaining the MSRP during this period underscores our consumer-first approach. Following a strong first quarter and record-breaking March sales, this program extends our momentum and continues our legacy of innovative customer support.”
The announcement follows Hyundai Motor Group’s recent declaration of a landmark $21 billion investment in the United States between 2025 and 2028. This initiative aims to strengthen domestic manufacturing, accelerate technological advancements, and enhance energy infrastructure—resulting in the creation of over 100,000 direct and indirect jobs. To date, Hyundai Motor Group’s operations in the U.S. have contributed to more than 570,000 jobs since its market entry in 1986.
Hyundai also recently inaugurated the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America in Georgia, a cornerstone of its $12.6 billion investment in the state. The facility, the largest economic development project in Georgia’s history, is expected to generate 8,500 direct jobs. At its grand opening, Hyundai announced an expansion of the plant’s capacity to 500,000 vehicles annually, complementing the existing 400,000-vehicle capacity at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama.
With a strong record of navigating industry disruptions—from semiconductor shortages to pandemic-related challenges—Hyundai remains well-positioned to adapt to evolving market landscapes. The company’s agile production and supply chain strategies ensure that customers continue to receive high-quality vehicles at competitive prices.
The Customer Assurance program builds upon Hyundai’s legacy of customer-centric innovations, such as America’s Best Warranty, job-loss protection programs, and other consumer-focused initiatives that highlight Hyundai’s dedication to the U.S. market.
