While designing a tyre, we at TVS Eurogrip, study latest market trends and riders’ needs to develop new products. Our product design and development centre at Milan, Italy enables us to understand the global picture and trends in motoring and our approach is very scientific when it comes to developing products for different geographies. The market dynamics are such that the expectations of today’s new age customers has changed from wanting to buy ‘just a tyre’ to one that compliments their passion for riding and their noteworthy riding machines.

We have modernised our test track in Madurai.  We have strengthened our R&D team by nearly 50 per cent. We have scaled up our manufacturing facility in Madurai, the backbone for us to consistently launch new products.

Our R&D arm is future ready and can deliver high quality products for global markets. We have razor sharp focus on tracking the emerging market needs and developing technologies to meet changing market demands.

Future beckons!

The two-wheeler market is witnessing tremendous growth. The number of 2 wheelers on Indian roads is 23.4 crore units in 2023, it has doubled in the last 6 years.

A whopping 1.59 crore two and three wheelers have been sold in India in the financial year 2023. Meaning 3.2 crore new tyres have been rolled out.  A very rough math translates that about 3 crore tyres will need replacement in the next 36 months. As premiumisation gathers pace, there is an increased demand for premium bike tyres in India. Though niche, we also see an increase in interest for sub-categories like off-roading, racing, and sport-touring. Electric 2-wheelers is also a segment that is growing and we are leading the curve in that space in terms of product development and having a best-in-category range.

To us, the future of 2& 3-wheeler tyre industry looks promising and we look forward to building Eurogrip as a strong global brand.
