Siemens announced the launch of MACHINUM, a groundbreaking digitalization portfolio designed to accelerate the speed, agility, and endurance of the Indian machine tool industry, at IMTEX 2025. MACHINUM has the potential to reduce setup time up to 20%* and cycle times and energy consumption up to 18%**.
With the increased investment in India by high-end manufacturing units serving local and export markets, the Indian machine tool market is undergoing a significant digital transformation, driven by the adoption of advanced technologies to support this growth. With cutting-edge features like Digital Twin readiness, effortless HMI customization, and 40% faster program buffering, it streamlines operations and improves efficiency. The high-resolution display ensures clear operator visibility, while robust cybersecurity, including IEC 62443 compliance, safeguards systems from threats.
