India's Leading Magazine For Manufacturing Industries

Zavenir Daubert, a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals, focusing on corrosion protection and metalworking fluids, today inaugurated its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located at Binola in Haryana. Esteemed dignitaries from Daubert, USA, and Nihon Parkerizing, Japan along with key Indian executives of Zavenir Daubert inaugurated the plant.

With an investment of ₹100 crores (10 million USD), this new facility strengthens Zavenir Daubert’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and India’s industrial growth. Notably, 10% of this investment has been allocated to advanced software technologies, ensuring seamless integration of Industry 4.0 capabilities. With a capacity to produce 1,200 kilolitres of chemicals per month, the plant will primarily cater to the automotive, steel, and construction industries, with automotive making up 70-75% of the company’s current business.

The new facility will not only cater to a fast-expanding domestic market but also certain overseas markets. Employing over 100 employees, the facility is spread across ~2 acres of land comprising end-to-end production capabilities. The new facility is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certified, reflecting its commitment to quality and environmental management.

Currently, Zavenir Daubert has an annual revenue of INR 150 crores. With this new facility, the company aims to scale its operations for 7X growth, targeting a revenue of ₹1,000 crores in the next five years.

Saket Bhartia, MD, Zavenir Daubert India Pvt Ltd, said, “This new integrated future-proof facility is an expression of our full commitment to our vision of “Global Technologies, Made in India”. There are many aspects of our new integrated facility which are not only India first but first in the industry too. At the forefront of smart manufacturing, our plant is designed to rely on advanced haptic technology. Our 10,000-square-foot Technology and Experience Centre at the plant will serve as the hub of our innovation. With highly advanced equipment and cutting-edge facilities for corrosion testing, tribology, microscopy, and chemical analysis, we offer Indian industries access to globally benchmarked technologies.”

Mr. Peter Fischer, Chairman – Daubert Group, Zavenir Daubert India Pvt Ltd, said, “The new facility is a testament to our commitment to innovation—a core value driving us toward our Vision 2030. It is here that global technologies are adapted for Indian needs, evaluated rigorously, and demonstrated to create measurable value for our partners. Through this facility, we have taken a significant big leap in technological innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, further setting new benchmarks in the industry.”

Further, the company has already outlined its next phase of expansion. A new plant, set to be established in West India within the next 3-4 years, will be double the capacity and double the investment of the current facility. This expansion will further cement Zavenir Daubert’s market leadership and contribute significantly to India’s growing manufacturing ecosystem.

Sustainability is at the heart of operations at Zavenir Daubert. From the ground up, the new plant is designed to minimize environmental impact; 100% solar power generation, Zero effluent discharge, Water conservation systems and Non-polluting power backups. In partnership with Daubert USA, Zavenir Daubert integrates global technologies with local manufacturing capabilities, adhering to international standards. The new facility makes Zavenir Daubert one of the leading and biggest specialty chemicals manufacturers in corrosion protection and metalworking in India. With a leadership position in the metal cutting and protection space in India, Zavenir Daubert is extending its footprint in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The company emphasizes sustainable practices and continuous innovation, aiming to meet the evolving needs of the global market while adhering to environmental and safety standards.

There are many aspects of the plant which are not only India first but also industry first. At the forefront of smart manufacturing, this plant is designed to rely on advanced haptic technology. This innovative approach delivers enhanced precision and efficiency in every process. Starting with raw materials handed by Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and storage in the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), all production processes such as dosing, blending, filling, and labeling processes are powered by cutting-edge articulated robotics. This intelligent process delivers unprecedented levels of efficiency, product quality, and fulfillment performance—setting a new benchmark for the industry.
